engineering geology, geographic information technologies and environmental permitting. He has performed assessments and
evaluations for civil engineering and environmental projects, and has
particular experience with dams, lineal infrastructure projects such as
transmission lines, pipelines and highways, and natural hazards planning
projects. Dr. Schlenker’s experience includes geological hazards evaluations, geotechnical
site characterizations, fault rupture hazard evaluations, geoseismic evaluations,
site engineering geology evaluations, landslide hazard evaluations; borrow search
investigations, and NEPA environmental assessments. Dr. Schlenker also has a strong
background in aerial photography interpretation, remote sensing and geographic information
technologies (GIS) and is experienced at modeling, manipulating and evaluating spatial
